JDC – Teach First Israel

Teach First Israel (Hotam) is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education, JDC Israel, Keren Naami, and the “Kol Hinnuch” movement. TFI aspires to promote equal opportunity is Israeli education, allowing every child, regardless of background,  to pick his or her future. Israel has thus joined dozens of countries in the world participating in the global program Teach for All. TFI recruits young quality leaders, with vision and high motivation, to leave their mark as teachers and to provide quality education for children in Israel’s social and geographical peripheries who would otherwise lack a proper education. More than 250 graduates of the program have already been integrated into the education system and are currently influencing the generation of the future.
