Herzog College

Herzog College, founded by the Lifshitz College of Education, is a teacher’s training college affiliated with Yeshivat Har Etsion in Alon Shvut. The college was opened in 1973 for students of Yeshivat Har Etsion. Over the years, students from other yeshivas have joined, and today it is one of the biggest centers for teacher training in the field of Jewish studies. The college was recognized by the Council for Higher Education as an academic college with the authority to issue its students a Bachelor of Education. Beginning in 2008, the college opened up studies in Bible and biblical interpretation towards an M.Ed.
