Bar Ilan University

Bar Ilan University is a public university located in Ramat Gan. It was founded in 1955 and is named after Rabbi Meir Bar-Ilan, one of the leaders of the religious Zionist movement. The university was established in order to promote Jewish and secular studies, based on an approach of “Torah Im Derekh Erets.”
