AL-Qasemi academic college

Al-Qasemi Academic College was founded in 1990, with support and encouragement from the Ministry of Education, with the goal of training teachers for Islamic and Arabic studies. The college is recognized by The Council for Higher Education and is located in Baqa al-Gharbiyye. In 1993 the college was authorized by the Ministry of Education to issue a senior teacher’s degree. The college has ties with Sufi Islam. Next to the college is a Sufi mosque as well as other educational institutions: kindergartens and schools, all of which bear the name Al-Qasemi. In 2002 the college was authorized to issue a B.Ed. and in 2010 an M.Ed.
