Amal School Network

The Amal School Network was established in 1928 by the Histadrut, its title an acronym for Labor (Avoda) Work (Melacha) and Studies (Limudim). Since its establishment, the network has come a long way, growing in size and tailoring its ethical and educational activity to the changes undergone by Israeli society and its economy. In 2007, Amal received the status of a public benefit corporation. The group provides an educational framework for all classes of society, from youth at risk to excelling students from Israel’s elite. The central value of Amal is to provide suitable and equal solutions to all elements of Israeli society: Jews, Arabs, Druze, Bedouins, Christians, Secular, Religious and Ultra-Orthodox
