Online Mathematics Summer School for 1,000 Ninth Grade Graduates of the High Ability Group Preparing to the Five-Unit Track in High School
The summer school aims to close learning gaps that were created during school closures, and help ninth grade graduates prepare towards the five-unit track in mathematics. The program will operate over 10 days, three hours a day, integrating between teaching curricular material and studying applied mathematics. Students will be able to participate in a learning day, only after completing an entrance quiz.
Each 100 students will be assigned in a learning group with a guide, an engineering student from a university. Every evening the guide will send background material for the day after. In order to motivate students to maintain in the program for as many days possible, CET will organize challenges at the end of each day and competitions at the end of each week. The competitions will be open only for those students who kept to the full schedule during the week.
