Magazine “It’s Time for Education” Expansion

“It’s Time for Education” is the largest digital education magazine in Israel, with a subscription base of more than 60,000 educators. Established and operated by the Trump Foundation since 2014, the magazine provides educational content for and by teachers on a weekly basis. It includes best practices of teaching, research-based pedagogical methods, as well as tips and recommendations for and by teachers, with special emphasis on the areas of mathematics and the sciences.

As schools are now preparing for reopening, teachers and principals are in search of advice, expertise, know-how, and support. Therefore, we are proposing to harness the “It’s Time for Education” platform to be used as a one-stop shop. We enlisted volunteers as writers, editors, and designers, and shifted our collaboration with Ynet (the leading news website of Israel) to significantly expand the volume and facilitate collaborative efforts.

Over the next three months, we are preparing to work in such an emergency mode and to increase exposure. This includes publishing three items every day, initiating live talks for educators with experts, and collaborating with news websites, digital communities, and colleague foundations.
